ASP .NET MS Access Linux Compatibility

Due to our Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP) environment, we do not support .NET, ASP, Access, COM objects, or Web Bots. Instead, our platform is optimized for technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, PHP, CGI, Perl, Python, and Ruby on Rails. This setup ensures robust support for a range of popular programming languages and databases. Although switching databases or programming languages for your site might not always be practical, we recommend the following alternatives for improved ASP .NET Linux compatibility and MS Access database integration:

  • Hire a developer to re-program ASP .NET in CGI, PHP or another scripting language that is Linux compatible.
  • Convert the pages to PHP by using Microsoft's conversion tool.
  • Move your content to a host that provides Windows-based services.
