If You Live Within the US and Canada
You can reach the verification department by phone (888-755-7585 ext. 2) between 6 AM and 9 PM (Mountain Time) to verify your recent purchase. Please provide the last four characters of your hosting password or the last four digits of your credit card number. Please note that phone verification requires you to call in from a number associated with your hosting account or from a secondary number you would like us to add to your contact information.
If you used PayPal
If the account was signed up through PayPal, we ask for confirmation of the last four characters of the hosting password or the seven-digit PayPal invoice ID number.
Verifying via email
If you prefer to send us an email, we kindly request that you submit a copy of both the front and back of the credit card that was used for the charge. The CVV2 on the back of the credit card and the first 12 digits on the front should be blocked out. If you signed up through American Express, the first 11 digits on the front of the credit card should be blocked. The last four digits of the credit card, the expiration date, and the name need to be visible. You can email this information to verification@bluehost.com. If you don't have access to a scanner, you can use a digital camera to take a picture of your ID.
If You Live Outside of the US or Canada
If you used a Credit Card
To prevent customers outside the United States and Canada from incurring international call charges, we request that they submit a scanned, photocopy, or digital image of both the front and back of the credit card used for the charge. The CVV2 on the back of the credit card and the first 12 digits on the front should be blocked out. If you signed up through American Express, the first 11 digits on the front of the credit card should be blocked. The last four digits of the credit card, the expiration date, and the name need to be visible. You can email this information to verification@bluehost.com.
If you used PayPal
If the account was signed up through PayPal, we request that the PayPal holder provide a copy of their government-issued photo identification card and confirmation of the last four characters of the hosting password or a seven-digit PayPal invoice ID number. You may send the documents via email to verification@bluehost.com. If you prefer phone verification, you can reach our verification department by phone (888-755-7585 ext. 2) between 7 AM - 9 PM (MST) Monday - Friday and 8 AM - 9 PM Saturday (MST). Please provide the last four characters of your hosting password or the last four digits of your credit card number. Please note that phone verification requires you to call in from a number associated with your hosting account or from a secondary number you would like us to add to your contact information.
